Should all cars come with warranty?
This seems to be a question that we get asked quite regularly: Is it mandatory for a car to be sold with warranty included?
The answer to this question is no, it is not mandatory.
If you buy a used car, whether from a car supermarket, a dealership, or from a private individual, then you are paying for the car "as seen". This is definitely a case of "buyer beware".
Should you have any doubts about the vehicle prior to purchasing it, then you would be wise to have an independent check carried out on the car. Don't assume that the car will be under warranty.
Sellers, particularly in the case of car retailers may offer to include warranty as part of your purchase. If the warranty is being charged for then you should check that you are really getting a good deal - it's always worth comparing prices with those available online.
